I wish you all a happy New Year, welcome to the 2020. Our basketball season will kick off around mid-March, but I wish to just let everyone know what is happening in the back ground.
I have taken over from Gary Hale as President this year. Our sincere thanks to him again for doing such a sensation job, putting in countless hours of his time to make sure the club prospers. I am your new President for 2020, I have been involved with NHR Raiders Basketball Club for the last 8 years, including being on the committee assisting Gary over the last 3 years. I have 2 sons who will be playing this year.
We have a great bunch of outstanding people on the committee who have given up their time to help the club to thrive. We are always looking for new committee members; so if you are interested, please let me know. I am also hoping that some of our under 18's will consider coming back to assist in coaching some teams. Again please let me know if you, or your son/daughter are interested.

Which is likely to be for under 14's and under 16's, more information to follow next week.
