We are coming to the end of the season with finals now just around the corner for our U14 and above teams, as well as the start of our wind-up season, with our Junior Wind-Up this Friday, followed by our Youth Wind-Up on Wednesday week.
Its been a great season and I want to personally thank all our Committee for their outstanding efforts this year, along with the commitment and dedication of our 120 Coaches and Managers that help make Raiders work so well. Please ensure you thank and celebrate their efforts during the wind-up events.
Finals Bound - U14's and Above Finals start this weekend!
The finals season kicks-off this weekend with 14 Raiders teams making finals and four (4) teams finishing in the top position:
U14 Girls: RA617, RA623
U14 Boys: RA646, RA654, RA656 (Minor Premiers), RA660 (Minor Premiers), RA652, RA646
U16 Boys: RA658 (Minor Premiers), RA668, RA674 (Minor Premiers), RA666, RA676
U18 Boys: RA684
U18/20 Girls: RA627
Lets make sure we get down and support our teams to play the best they can - good luck to everyone for the finals.

Congratulations to Matt Parsons, Perry Lakes Hawks SBL Mens Coach (& U8 Raiders Coach!)
If you happen to see Matt Parsons at our Junior Wind-Up on Friday, don't hesitate to congratulate him on winning the Mens SBL Champions with a 94 to 87 win over the Joondalup Wolves. Matt has been a great help to us this year in supporting our coaches and will be an integral part of our coaching advisory panel in 2019.
**WIND UP REMINDER**
Junior Wind-Up - Friday, 7th September 2018 @ Newman College
Our Junior Wind-Up will be held this Friday at Newman College starting from 5:45pm. This year, we will take groups of 4-5 teams at once to avoid long presentations. There will be clear signage on the door of the presentation room to let everyone know exact times that we expect you to be there for the presentations. The rough time slots are (your managers will have specific timings):
Under 8's: 5.50pm-6:20pm
Under 10's: 6:00pm-7pm
Under 12's: 7pm-8.30pm
You are welcome to come before and stay a little later. We will have a sausage sizzle and a bar open. We wish to remind you that you must remain responsible for your children while there.
All games are now complete, so please ensure all of your uniforms are given to your manager, cleaned and washed for return on the night. Please try and hand in to one member of your team to collate and hand in on the night.
All equipment will be collected on the night, please bring any basketballs, the bags, first aid kits etc to the equipment table on the night. Please also report any lost equipment to save us chasing it.
Please come along and enjoy the night, introduce yourself to the committee and other members, and lets celebrate a great season!
