Dear Players, Parents and Carers,
Welcome to the 2022 season!
This year we are limited in the number of teams we can field due to restricted game-day court space. To try and manage this, we are opening registrations to our players who played in 2021 first, you will have two weeks to register. If you are not able to, for financial, or other reasons, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you have not registered within the two week gap, concluding on 29th Jan at 5pm, we will assume you are not playing and offer positions to those on our wait list.
This email is for those looking to play in Under 10 (year 3 & 4), through to Under 18 (year 11 & 12), registrations for our Integrated Basketball program, and Under 8 (Year 1 & 2) will open later in February.
The fees for our standard registration (Not U8, or IBP) will be:
Raiders: $165 (includes $20 refundable singlet deposit).
- This is for uniforms, equipment, training courts, coaching courses etc.
-This pays for referee's and site leasing costs.
Basketball WA: $36.50
-This goes towards our insurance, and for the development of basketball in Western Australia.
Main registration has now closed for the 2022 season.

We are accepting pre-nominated teams for U10 (Year 3 & 4), U12 (Year 5 & 6) and U18 (Year 11 & 12). All nominations must contain a coach and manager and, at this stage, can only consist of players who played in 2021. Please click here.
Raiders will take responsibility for forming teams for boys and girls in the under 14 (Year 7 & 8) and under 16 (Year 9 & 10). While this will be based on knowledge of prior skills and feedback from coaches, we request all players in this age group to attend one pre-season skills session to assist the process. Details of these sessions will be confirmed in the next few weeks, but at present are planned to be held on Sunday 13th, 20th and 27th Feb from 11.30-4.30.
If you have friends or family who would like to join Raiders this year, please encourage them to join our wait list. We anticipate not all players will be returning, and will invite players from our wait list to fill those vacancies. Please forward the wait list link to them...
We will draw new players from the wait list ONLY. If a person registers as a player, but not on the wai tlist they will likely incur administration charges.

As with the last two years, there is no doubt that COVID will have an effect on our season, it remains to be seen exactly how though. I suspect some teams may have players who are in quarantine, or have COVID and cannot play.
I have not had confirmation, but due to Government regulations, as of 31 Jan, I suspect that all patrons (players and spectators) aged 16 and above will have to show proof of vaccination to enter Lords, this may also be required at Bendat. I will update with more information as it comes to hand.
