Perry Lakes Hawks under 14s WA Basketball League team has played their way in to the National Club Championships.
Congratulations to the three under 14s Raider boys who made the team: Nick Worley, Austin Condo and Tilen Wenham. They will head to the Australian u14s National Club Championship which will be held in Ballarat in October... Go Raiders!
You may have already heard that earlier this year the Perry Lakes Hawks U14 Boys Championship team qualified for the Australian National Club Championships to be held in October this year. Raiders is well represented within this team with 3 players and our own club coaching coordinator as an Assistant Coach. We hope that our Raiders club members are able to support the boys in any way they can. The boys will be holding a number of fundraising events over the next few months to raise money towards their travel expenses for the competition.
This coming weekend the boys will be running a Mother’s Day Raffle during the Juniors competition games held on Friday night and Saturday at the Bendat Centre and there will also be a Sausage Sizzle. So bring down some spare change and win a gift for Mum or buy a pre/post game sausage!!
The team are also hosting a wine drive in conjunction with Hay Shed Hill winery. If you would like to purchase a case or 2 of wines CLICK HERE to download the PDF. Keep an eye out for an upcoming movie fundraiser, we will be screening Toy Story 4, and a quiz night later in the season. If anyone has a business that would like to sponsor the team let me know!!
